Gauteng's MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Lebogang Maile, will tomorrow take part in the Provincial Government's extensive programme aimed at assessing the state of readiness in schools for the 2011 academic year.
The programme of the MEC will include the opening of a new primary school in Polokong and handing over uniforms to at least 150 learners at Lesedi la Thuto and Letsemeng Primary Schools.
The MEC's programme is as follows:
08h00: Official opening and handing over of Polokong Primary School
09h00: Assess the state of readiness at Lesedi la Thuto Primary School, hand over school uniforms to 100 learners
10h00: Hand over uniforms to 50 learners at Letsemeng Primary School
16h30: Attend the Education Imbizo to be held at Polokong Primary School
