Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Ms Qedani Mahlangu, will meet the small medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) and related stakeholders to discuss the challenges facing the sector and collectively explore ways of addressing them.
MEC Mahlangu will host this meeting together with the Acting CEO of Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP), Ms Thandiwe Ngqobe.
GEP is the SMMEs development and support agency established by the Gauteng Provincial Government.
The meeting seeks to strengthen the relationship between government and the SMMEs sector in the provincial economy. The discussions will include the provincial SMMEs policy direction; GEP services and products and other related issues.
