The Portfolio committee of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature meets with portfolio committees of Sport, Recreation, Arts, Culture and Heritage from municipalities. The purpose of the meeting is as follows:
- Strengthen collaboration and working relationship between the Legislature and municipalities
- Sharing information and programmes implemented by the municipalities
- Sharing experiences with regards to oversight work done at the municipal level.
