The Gauteng MEC for Education Barbara Creecy will on Wednesday, 16 September host the Provincial Teacher Awards in recognition and acknowledgement of the best teachers in the Gauteng province.
The teacher awards are one of the ways in which the department highlights the growing role that teachers play in shaping the minds of the young and the development of our country. These awards will not only honour the provincial winners but honour the entire teaching profession.
