The Gauteng Department of Health and Social Development MEC Qedani Mahlangu will honour 1 000 learners in a skills program certification ceremony on Thursday, 15 October 2009.
The recipients will include data capturers, radiographers and basic pharmacists. The aim of the Skills Program project is to address the critical skills shortage in the department and to recognise men and women who have dedicated themselves to develop and improve their skills by participating in the various programmes offered by the department.
