Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC Ntombi Mekgwe to table 2011/12 Budget Speech

On Friday, 8 July 2011, Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC, Ntombi Mekgwe, will present the department’s budget to the provincial legislature.

In her speech, the MEC will outline the department’s plans for the 2011/12 financial year which include combating HIV and Aids, substance abuse, opening of Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDs), improve services for the disabled and elderly as well as building an effective health care system.
