The MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation (SACR) Ms Nelisiwe Mbatha-Mtimkulu will on Monday, 14 December address the media over the Gauteng integrated Festive Season Holiday programme.
The initiative is a joint effort between SACR and the departments of Health and Social Development; Community Safety; Transport and Public Works; and Economic Development.
The programme is aimed at keeping youth occupied during the festive season and taking them away from antisocial behaviour such as crime, violence, substance abuse, etc. They (youths) will be engaged in sport, cultural activities and workshops.
