The Gauteng MEC for Education Barbara Creecy will launch three vital projects that are aimed at strengthening communication between the three spheres of the Gauteng Department of Education, which are the head office, districts and schools.
The projects are:
- The School Principals Cellphone Project
- The Institutional Development and Support Officer (IDSOs) laptop and cellphone project
- The Education Labour Relations Council’s Teacher Laptop Initiative.
These projects involve the provision of cellphones to all principals of public schools in Gauteng as well as laptops and cellphones to all IDSO and educators.
