About 6 000 people, including Members of the Executive Council (MECs) and Members of the Provincial Legislature Education Portfolio Committee, are expected to converge at CRC church in Bloemfontein for a special 2009 examination prayer.
The special prayer organised by Free State Education Department seeks to boosts the moral of all learners in the run-up to their 2009 final examination. It will take place on the eve of the first day of the National Senior Certificate examination scheduled for Monday, 26 October 2009.
More than 30 000 full-time learners and 914 part time repeater candidates will sit for the 2009 matric exams.
