Free State convenes education conference

Free State Premier, Ace Magashule and Education MEC Tate Makgoe will address delegates at a three-day education conference to be held in Bloemfontein from Friday, 24 until Sunday 26 June at Protea Hotel (Bloem Plaza).

The aim of the conference is to inform and consult education stakeholders on key educational matters with the aim of mobilising them to be part of solving the challenges facing the education system in the province.

The conference will also serve to strengthen relations between the department and various stakeholders as they speak in one voice to seek solutions to improve the quality of education in the province.

Among the delegates who will attend are: education experts, unions, school governing bodies’ representatives, educators, and principal associations.

The theme for the conference is “Education as a Societal Problem”.
