Mafikeng town will be brought to a standstill when Justice and Crime Prevention Security Cluster, departments amongst others; South African Police Service (SAPS), Judiciary, Department of Justice and Constitutional Development staff and football legend Malombo Lechaba currently coaching at North West University Soccer Institute dressed in Bafana-Bafana green and yellow jerseys will be embarking on a massive motorcade on the 5 March 2010 starting at 08h30 at regional office.
The purpose is to pledge support for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup as well as showcase pride and patriotisms towards the national team. Short formal program will start exactly at 08h30 and followed by motor entourage in town to Megacity complex. Big banner will be placed at the department’s main entrance for staff to pledge their support for 2010 FIFA World Cup and national team Bafana-Bafana.
“We need to rally behind our national team Bafana-Bafana as a host country and buy tickets to witness this historic event. I must say the department is more than ready to deal with incidents that might arise from games.
“The department has identified special 2010 courts at Mogwase magistrate, Rustenburg magistrate and Bafokeng magistrate court to deal with incidents that might arise from games.” Concluded regional Head Mr Tsietsi Malema
