The Deputy Minister of Health Dr Molefi Sefularo will address over 600 local and international delegates at the annual conference of the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) on Monday.
The theme of the conference is “Healthcare in South Africa, a new dimension”. In his address the Deputy Minister will outline the need for the private sector to embrace the introduction of the National Health Insurance (NHI) and the reasons thereof.
Notable speakers including Professor Di McIntyre, Dr Clem Sunter, Dr Olive Shisana, Dr Humphrey Zokufa, Dr Debbie Pearmain and Mr Andrew Donaldson from National Treasury and Health MECs, will attend the event.
