Background

The EPWP 2010 media workshop is the beginning stage of a series of communication events leading to the minister's budget vote to be held in Parliament, Cape Town on 5 May 2010.

The media workshop will serve as an opportunity for EPWP beneficiaries to give testimony around the EPWP successes, progress and showcasing the social impact of the programme a key government initiative. The workshop will also set a unique platform of maximising the level of engagement between the national Department of Public Works and the media.
