Minister of Tourism, Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk, will launch the National Youth Chef programme on 24 February 2011, in Randburg. You are cordially invited to attend. The Professional Cookery (Chef) qualification has been identified as one of the scarce skills in South Africa. In order to address this gap, eight hundred (800) unemployed youth will benefit from this national Department of Tourism programme .
