The Gauteng Department of Local Government and Housing and the City of Ekurhuleni will host an event to mark the 1st year Commemoration since a tornado hit the township of Duduza, leaving a trail of destruction on its path.
The Premier of Gauteng Nomvula Mokonyane, Local Government and Housing MEC Ntombi Mekgwe and the Executive Mayor of Ekurhuleni Mondli Gungubele will join the community of Duduza to remember this sad day. A number of activities have been lined up for this day.
