Members of the media are invited to join Minister of Tourism, Marthinus van Schalkwyk, at the official launch of the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy. Elevating tourism to the national status it deserves as one of the key drivers of this economy, will require enhanced public-private partnerships. Towards achieving this goal, the National Department of Tourism has thus developed the strategy.
The Minister will also announce the 2011 Domestic tourism statistics and introduce the new Domestic Marketing Campaign.
