The North West Department of Health and Social Development together with its stakeholders will be hosting a district seminar with special focus on youth development, as part of celebrating the youth month in our country.
The theme, "listening to the heart beats of the young people", the seminar will focus mainly on the challenges facing young people and propose evidence based solutions that could influence policy and program designs to shake stagnation in youth development in the province. This will be done in line with the provincial growth strategy and the poverty eradication strategy. The joint partnership between the department and its stakeholders will be able to address the advocacy issues with education for empowerment of youth through information dissemination presentations.
