Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Friday, 24 February 2012, visit Mogale City Local Municipality in the West Rand District, Gauteng province to assess the impact of the government anti-poverty programme in the area.
During the visit the Deputy President Motlanthe together with Cabinet Ministers, Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane and members of the Provincial Executive Council as well as local councillors will receive a report on the status of various projects initiated in Mogale City since the start of the War on Poverty programme.
The Deputy President will visit projects and development sites and conclude his visit to the Mogale City local municipality by attending a community meeting.
