Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Friday, 15 April 2011, chair a meeting of the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) at the East London City Hall, Eastern Cape province.
The meeting will receive an update report on the implementation of the current national plan on HIV, AIDS and TB.
At the end of the SANAC meeting the Deputy President will visit Cecilia Makiwane Hospital in Mdantsane.
Deputy President Motlanthe will be accompanied by cabinet ministers, members of the SANAC Secretariat and representatives from the civil society.
