Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe and other members of the 2010 Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) invite all media to'Football Friday' activation at the Union Buildings, to be held as follows:

The Football Friday's initiative forms part of a broader domestic mobilisation campaign in preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
On the day of the event, the Deputy President, as well as members of the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) and staff in The Presidency, will come to work wearing Bafana Bafana jerseys in support of the objectives of the Football Friday campaign, which aims to encourage South Africans to support the national football team, wear football jerseys on Fridays, fly the South African flag with pride, learn to sing the National Anthem and the diski dance.
