Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Friday, 1 October 2010, deliver the Ahmed Kathrada Inaugural Annual Lecture in Parktown, Johannesburg.
The theme for the lecture is "South Africa belongs to all who live in it, Black and White: The contemporary relevance of this Freedom Charter ideal."
The event is organised by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, an organisation whose aim is to deepen the principles of non-racialism in South Africa through initiatives like research, dialogue and social engagements.
