Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe as Chancellor of the University of Venda (UNIVEN) will tomorrow, Friday 29 October 2010, deliver a keynote address at the University of Venda Capital Campaign fundraising dinner to be held at Gallagher Estate, Johannesburg.
The Capital Campaign is a major initiative of the UNIVEN Foundation, the University’s fundraising arm. The Deputy President as the Campaign Champion currently guides the University’s programme of restructuring which involves the re-engineering and transformation of its core business, including the development of a new qualification structure and programme profile.
This initiative will enable the University of Venda to become the leader of higher education institutions for rural and regional development in Southern Africa.
