The Deputy Minister of the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Thulas Nxesi and the Regional Land Claims Commissioner for Free State and Northern Cape, cordially invite you to attend Gatlose settlement celebration which will be marked by distribution of vouchers amounting 35 million rand to 638 households of Gatlose land claim.
The Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform will be distributing vouchers amounting 35 million rand to the Gatlose Community.
The Gatlose claim consists of 1 017 households from the Gatlhose communities residing in Slough, Bendell, Postmansburg, Batlharos, Deorham, Bakhara Bodulong, Mothibistad and other places in South Africa. These communities have opted for a combination of financial compensation, alternative land for agricultural purposes, housing development and development of infrastructure like schools and clinics.
