The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) together with City Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality will host an outreach campaign at the Thabo Mbeki playground opposite the Winterveld Multipurpose Community Centre on Tuesday, 13 March 2012 from 09h00. The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Ms Elizabeth Thabethe will deliver a keynote address.
The purpose of the campaign is to create awareness about the dti's products and services, as well as small business support services offered by its agencies.
The campaign, which is targeting businesses and entrepreneurs in and around Winterveld, seeks to strengthen government's commitment to empowering rural and peri-urban communities to accelerate job creation and sustainable economic development in the country.
Entrepreneurs attending the event will be advised on how to start, grow and sustain their businesses, during interactive information-sharing sessions hosted by the dti agencies and strategic partners at their exhibition stands.
