Nelson Mandela Day is a national campaign which has been elevated to international level and it has been initiated by Nelson Mandela Foundation to foster the spirit of ubuntu which emphasises the need by all people of the world to selflessly dedicate 67 minutes of their time to implement projects for development and betterment of the lives of ordinary people, especially the needy.
