Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the official opening of the SAPS executive management and leadership development centre and certification ceremony of the 1st executive leadership development programme.
The executive development programme in the SAPS, since its inception in 2006/07, as presented by the African Institute for Mentoring for the development of senior managers (directors and assistant commissioners) a need was established to institutionalise the EDPL in the SAPS.
A total number of 375 senior managers (45 assistant commissioners and 330 directors) have been trained in the SAPS.
It is against this background that the office of the Deputy Minister Police, Honourable Fikile Mbalula (MP) invites all members of the media to the official opening of the SAPS executive management and leadership development centre and the certification ceremony.
