The Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Mr Thabang Makwetla, will on Monday next week deliver a keynote address at the National Heritage Council (NHC) Memorial Lecture and Commemoration of the late military veteran, Mazizi Maqhekeza.
The NHC will commemorate his memory under the auspices of a flagship programme: the Liberation Heritage Route. This NHC programme seeks to promote preservation of this type of memory as a testament of the country’s long road to freedom.
Deputy Minister Makwetla will deliver his keynote address as follows:
