Deputy Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Mme Rejoice Mabudafhasi will on 12 August 2011, lead the South African Weather Service women as they celebrate and honour women who marched to the Union Buildings in 1956, in protestation of the oppressive apartheid laws that included the carrying of passes.
This is an opportunity for media to meet women scientists behind the organization and the leadership that has just celebrated 10th year anniversary of their existence as a government parastatal and its accreditation as World Meteorological Organization Regional Training Centre.
