The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize, will tomorrow Thursday, 27 January 2011, hold a meeting between the department and South African Student Congress (SASCO) representatives at 123 Schoeman Street, Pretoria.
The purpose of the meeting is to address problems that are being encountered by institutions of higher learning, such as student admission, capacity and accommodation. This will also serve to bring more understanding to the department’s overall landscape in supporting institutions of higher learning and students. The department will in addition prepare to embark on extensive visits to the country’s institutions.
There will be two sessions of the meeting, addressing the purpose and its outcome.
