The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Marius Fransman, will receive his counterpart from Panama, Mr Francisco Alvarez de Soto, on Thursday, 19 April 2012 at the Taj Hotel in Cape Town.
In addition to bilateral discussions, the two Deputy Ministers are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the diplomatic academies of South Africa and Panama.
It is also expected that Deputy Minister Alvarez de Soto will present Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Deputy Minister Fransman with the Order of Vasco Nuñes de Balboa, Under the Great Cross Degree.
