The Deputy Minister and Amangcolosi Trust hands over Projects to the community

The Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Lechesa Tsenoli cordially invites members of the Media to be part of an event where the Minister and the trust will be handing over to the community projects such as; Dulumbe Primary School, Ntunjambili Dip Tank & Dulumbe Water Skim.

In 2004, 376 claimants from the Amangcolosi community in Kranskop, KwaZulu-Natal were successful in claiming the restoration of land rights over 12 independent white-owned farms in terms of the Restitution of Land Rights Act 1994 (Act No 22 of 1994). In July 2005, the claimants officially received part of their land which was approximately 8 000 hectares.
