Home Affairs Deputy Minister will today, 20 June 2012 address the World Refugee Day event at the Orlando Communal Hall in Soweto.
The World Refugee Day commemoration has been held annually around the world since 2001 in order to draw attention to the growing number and plight of refugees throughout the world, following the United Nations General Assembly declaration of 20 June as the World Refugee Day in 2000.
