Department of Trade and Industry to co-host doing business with India conference

The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) invites members of the media to attend the second conference on doing business with India, under the theme ‘building partnerships when the chips are down’. The Department of Trade and Industry will co-host the event in partnership with the Indian Consulate in South Africa; the details of event are as follows:

Venue: Sandton Convention Centre, Sandton, Johannesburg

The South African Minister of International Relations and Co-operation, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane and High Commissioner of India to South Africa, R K Bhatia, will address the opening ceremony of the conference.

The second conference on doing business with India provides an intensive day of industry discussions and the exchanging of ideas and information between key chief executive officers and heads of new business development, who have exhibited a keen interest in establishing or strengthening business ties with India. The conference attracts participants from India, South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) member nations.
