Service delivery protests are costing the country millions of rands as people resort to violence and the police forced to stabilise the situation.
It is in this regard that the Department for Safety, Security and Liaison will host a Safety and Security Summit on Service Delivery to address unrest during these service delivery protests.
Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza and MEC Sibongile Manana will lead the discussions with law enforcement agencies, municipalities and organisations representing civil society.
