In an effort t to improve service delivery, Gauteng MEC for Health, Hope Papo will on Monday, 30 July 2012, officially open the Accident and Emergency Unit and the pharmacy waiting area at Chiawelo Community Health Centre in Soweto.
The recently refurbished unit will assist in strengthening primary healthcare and improve the quality of service delivery in the province.
The unit, which is equipped with state of the art machinery, was revamped by the Eskom Development Foundation and the South African Medical and Education Foundation.
Minister of Public Enterprise, Mr Malusi Gigaba will deliver a keynote address at the event.
