In commemoration of World Epilepsy Week, Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC Ntombi Mekgwe will join hundreds at a candlelight ceremony in Springs tomorrow.
Under the theme, turning obstacles into true potential, the community will be educated on the signs and symptoms of the illness as well as treatment options available during this awareness campaign.
There will also be screening for the following conditions: diabetes, foot care, eye sight, height and weight measurements, blood pressure and cholesterol.
