The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa, will be hosting a Crime Awareness Imbizo where he will address the police as well as members of the public on crime related issues and service delivery in the area.
The Honourable Minister is on a country-wide visit where he interacts directly with different communities with a view of understanding some of their concerns around safety. He utilises such interactions to further monitor service delivery by police but more importantly, to strengthen relations between police and civic and non-governmental organisations, the business sector, the rural sector, youth groups and religious institutions.
