The Council of Arab Ambassadors in conjunction with the Department of Arts and Culture will host an Arab Culture Week, which will be held in Pretoria and Johannesburg from the 25th to the 29th of October 2010.
The events of this Cultural Week include art, music, handcraft exhibitions, photography, and lectures. All of these events will be held in Pretoria and Johannesburg.
The Council of Arab Ambassadors welcomes all South African journalists and media members to attend these events and experience the Arab culture.
South Africa and the Arab people enjoy a strong historical friendship with deep cultural, economic and political dimension. To benefit from this relationship, it is our responsibility to work on the development of it and get familiar with our different cultures.

Arab cultural show, traditional music, jazz and dance from Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia and United Arab Emirates.

The opening ceremony of the arab painting and handicrafts exhibition from Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Palestine, Sudan and Tunisia.

A seminar on the Arab-African relations presented by Prof. Hassan Makki and Dr. Hassan Widtalla Elhassan(Sudan) and Prof Maxi Schoeman (South Africa)
