Premier’s Council on Skills to focus on exciting Dual Vocational training initiative

The media is invited to attend the Premier’s Council on Skills (PCS) gathering tomorrow. Under the theme: Strengthening International Partnerships to Support Provincial Dual and Occupational Training.

Western Cape Premier Alan Winde and Finance and Economic Opportunities Minister Mireille Wenger will help reinforce the Provincial Government’s existing partnership with the Free State of Bavaria and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in the province to implement the Dual Vocational Training system.

The PCS is a consultative forum, chaired by the Premier, which helps drive, coordinate and oversee skills development in the province.
