Small Business Development launches Global Entrepreneurship Congress, 28 Jul

Members of the media are cordially invited to attend and cover the media launch of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), set to take place in Johannesburg in 2017, a first for Africa.

Focusing on hosting African entrepreneurs, innovators and inventors, the GEC is the world’s largest gathering of innovators and job creators, who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

The Department of Small Business Development, the City of Johannesburg Convention Bureau, Barclays Africa and Sustainable Entrepreneur Accelerator (SEA) Africa welcome the prospect of profiling the country as a gateway to Africa, and profiling Johannesburg as a world class African city, business events destination and economic hub.
