Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane participates at 4th International Women's Day Summit, 6 Mar 

The Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities will participate at the 4th International Women's Day Summit 2020, hosted by the Motsepe Foundation’s Centre for Gender Equality and Leadership (CGEL). It will be focusing on ensuring women's full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all level of decision –making in political, economic and public life.

The objective of the Summit is to bring together leaders, organisations and civil society to participate in dialogue that will drive public disclosure towards the advancement and recognition of all women. Ensure the realisation of the 1994 Women`s Charter for Effective Equality, which calls for the full and equal participation of women in the creation of new political, legal, economic and social system in South Africa.

This Platform initiates discussion to stimulate collaboration between government, policy and regulations, the private sector, and communities.
