Minister Lindiwe Sisulu addresses Human Settlements Development Summit in Boksburg, 21 Sept

The Minister of Human Settlements Lindiwe Sisulu will on Thursday, 21 September 2017 deliver a key-note address at the Human Settlements Development Summit at Birchwood Hotel, Boksburg, Gauteng.

The Summit which will be held from 20-22 September 2017 under the theme: Building our future today- Ensuring liveable spaces for every family will discuss various challenges and successes affecting the Human Settlements Sector. About 700 delegates from different stakeholders will robustly discuss among other matters; the Master Spatial Plan, Urban and Rural Management and Re-imagining Housing Finance.

On the 20th of September 2017 the Summit will open with the hosting of a Journalism Academy and a visit to Germiston Social housing project and Clayville Integrated Housing project, The Journalism Academy is a pioneering and innovative initiative to engage journalists and media professionals who are already interested or involved in development matters with reference to social and economic issues facing human settlements.
