Minister Mantashe to address the Council for Geoscience (CGS) Summit
The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP), will tomorrow, 25 October 2022, deliver a keynote address at the Council for Geoscience Summit set to take place at the Durban International Convention Centre (CITCC) from 25 to 27 October 2022.
The main purpose of the 2022 Geoscience summit is to celebrate the 110 years of CGS, its progress in geoscience mapping, nationally and internationally over the years, and to celebrate the predecessors who led the organisation in the past, recognising the significant contribution they made in the field.
This event will bring together some of the top minds in the field to discuss the latest advances in geoscience. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts in a variety of topics, including climate change, energy resources and geological mapping.
