Limpopo hosts Inter-Provincial State Law Advisors Forum, 18 to 19 Apr

The Limpopo Provincial Government will host a two days Inter-Provincial State Law Advisors Forum targeting legal advisers across the country. The Inter-Provincial State Law Advisors Forum (IPSLAF) will be held on the 18th & 19th April 2018 at the Magoebaskloof Hotel. Judge President, Ephraim Makgoba of the Limpopo Division of the High Court, will deliver an opening address at 11h00 am on the 18th April 2018.

The IPSLAF is a body approved by Forum of South African Director-Generals (FOSAD) and consists of legal advisers from different provinces in the country. The overall objective of the forum is to meet bi-annually to discuss legal matters of mutual concern, to share best practices and case law that affects government.

Each province will be afforded an opportunity to make a presentation to the forum. Thereafter there are deliberations, questions and comments. This programme supports MECs and HODs with a comprehensive compendium of Education, Training and Development (ETD) solutions.

ETD’s main objective in this case is to improve the ability of a candidate to implement service delivery of their respective departments with greater consistency, efficiency and effectiveness taking into consideration available resources verses the people’s needs. Provinces rotate in hosting the IPSLAF which is held over two days. Limpopo hosted the event four years ago and will be hosting it for the second time.
