As part of the 2017 October Transport Month campaign, Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport will on Thursday, 26 October 2017, host the Provincial Freight Summit at the Parktonian Hotel, Johannesburg.
Hosted under the theme: “Optimising Freight to Support Economic Growth”, the summit will discuss amongst other topics: freight infrastructure projects, freight industry’s best practices, international freight trends as well as innovative ways of modernising the freight industry.
Furthermore, the seminar will discuss the Gauteng Freight Implementation Strategy (GFIS) which has been developed to assess the state of freight in the province.
The implementation strategy is aimed at ensuring alignment of Provincial Freight Strategy to the National Freight Strategy.
