The Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industry South Africa in partnership with the Department of the Premier will host Youth Entrepreneurship Development Seminar on 28th July 2015 in Parys. The Theme of the Seminar is: “Working together to ensure and promote rapid radical economic transformation agenda that directly talk to youth enterprise development”
The seminar will afford both organisation to present opportunities, support and services available for youth in business. The seminar will be attended by over 200 attendees from across the provinces, from the ranks of Business Finance Institutions, Youth in Business, Municipalities, Free State Provincial government, Business, and Civil society.
The seminar to be held is in line with The Department of Trade and Industry’s Youth Enterprise Development Strategy (YEDS) and the Department of Economic Development’s Youth Employment Accord’s Number 6 to engage young people in the entrepreneurship sector around what the government of Republic of South Africa intending to establish partnership with government and Parastatals with a view to provide capacity building for its constituents and ensure proper infrastructure and support (financial) for operations and sustainability of youth business.
The seminar is also an exercise by the Government and Private Sector to further interact with young business practitioners and experts in this field on issues of their development and empowerment.
