What: The Free State Department of Health will be hosting Millennium Development Goals Countdown (MDGs) / Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)/ Primary Health Care (PHC) Re-engineering Summit 2015 from 17-19 June 2015 under the theme “Vision 2030…The Journey: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. Relevant role players and stakeholders in the province and beyond are to meet to take stock of progress in the attainment of MDGs, SDGs, PHC Re-engineering and to chart the way forward in aid of achieving Vision 2030 in the next 15 years. Jointly with this, it will ensure the continued alignment with other strategic processes in the health sector such as National Health Insurance (NHI). The summit will also evaluate progress with implementation of the August 2011 Child Health Summit resolutions.
Who: The summit will be attended amongst others Premier of the Free State, Lesotho Minister of Health, MEC's from other departments, Mayors, HOD's, Partners, Stakeholders and Specialists
