The Free State Provincial Government will form part of the Association of Independent Publishers (AIP) Conference that will take place at President Hotel, Bloemfontein on 30-31 October 2015.
The conference themed “Sharing Solutions” is part of AIP’s efforts to create an enabling environment for community print media. The association comprises mostly small newspapers; however it also represents newsletters, magazines and online publications, all of which are owned by local communities.
The conference will focus on the following 3 key issues:
- Who are the provincial independent grassroots publishers
- What role do independent grassroots publishers play in provincial communication
- How can independent grassroots and other stakeholders work together
Please Note:
- The AIP will host a media network function straight after the conference. Friday, 30 October 2015 at 18h00.
- The annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 31 October 2015 will include Free State board elections.
