Fraud Awareness Seminar

Gauteng Provincial Treasury in partnership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) will host the International Fraud Awareness Seminar at Gallagher Convention Centre on 16 November 2012.

Senior executives from all government tiers, representatives from the financial services industry in particular banks and sector organisations will attend the event, to discuss collaboration aimed at practically contributing to the fight against fraud and corruption.

International research shows that fraud is prevalent both in the public and private sector. As a consequent organisations around the world lose an estimated 5% of their annual revenue to fraud.

Interviews with the MEC, ACFE and other speakers can be arranged to discuss progress that Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) and the private sector have made in the fight against fraud and corruption.
