Deputy President David Mabuza will tomorrow, 23 August 2018, address the Landbou Weekblad and Agri-SA Land and Agricultural Summit aimed at finding common solutions to South Africa’s land and economic challenges in Bela-Bela, Limpopo Province.
The Summit will bring together more than 65 speakers and sector representatives to discuss challenges and find possible solutions to addressing the land question and advancing the transformation of the agricultural sector to benefit all South Africans.
Deputy President Mabuza was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa as Chairperson of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Land Reform that was established to coordinate and implement measures to accelerate the redistribution of land, the extension of security of tenure, the provision of agricultural support and the redress of spatial inequality within a broad and comprehensive land redistribution and agricultural development programme.
In this regard, the Deputy President will share with the Summit the Government’s approach to land and agrarian reform.
